About WSQ-ES Courses


Using the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications framework (WSQ).  The Singapore Employability Skills System (ESS),
1.  Provides alternate qualifications for
  • lower skilled and low waged Singaporean workers without “N” and “O” levels,
  • helping Singaporean to gain entry into jobs and upgrading pathways
  • helping Singaporean to go in and a cross different industries
2. Equips the workforce with generic & portable skills that
  • will enable workers to better adapt to new job demands ,
  • work challenges and
  • changing work environment.
3.The ES  courses equips our workforce with foundational generic and portable skills.  They are:
  • Communicate & Relate Effectively at the Workplace - 24 hours
  • Develop Personal Effectiveness at Operation Level- 24 hours
  • Adapt to Change-24 hours
  • Solve Problem & Making Decision at Operation Level-24hors
  • Demonstrate Initiative & Enterprise Behaviours-24hours
  • Work in Team-24 hours
  • Cultivate Service Innovation Mindset-16 hours
  • Promote Service Innovation Process -16 hours 
Cash Benefits:
  • There are a total of 176 training hours  
  • Trainee will receive $4.50 per training hours.   
  • Plus Workfare and Training Commitment Award up to $400 per year 
  • Trainee pay S$40 only  for all 8 modules.
  • Trainee must be employed.
